PHOTO OF THE DAY: Another personal project designed to capture and post one photo a day for the next 365 days. The photo may be the most ordinary to the most sublime. Whatever it might be, it is sure to be a slice of my day viewed by my eyes as worthy of capturing for posterity.
Look at all those bees going for the honey in the roses!
Lovely little yellow flowers on a creeper (that I don't know the name of).
The most gorgeous hibiscus to usher in the month of August.
A geranium that's bloomed as much as it can, and is preparing to say farewell!
More flowering hostas. Don't you just love it?
Flowering hostas. Look at the contrast of colors in flowers and leaves!
What's not to love? The tree loves it too!
I don't know the name of this tree, but it has the most striking leaves in that the underside of each leaf is almost bone-white.
A cluster of daisies right in front of the house (same neighbor who has the lovely clematis, btw!)
Clematis, close-up. (Last in this clematis-series, I promise!)
No-fuss clematis climbing the wall of my neighbor's house.
Gorgeous clematis in my neighbor's front yard.
An exquisitely pretty-in-pink daylily.
A close-up of the impossibly perfectly shaped bell-like purple flowers (sorry, I still need to learn its name!) Also, a nod to marking my 100th post on this 365-day project.
I'm afraid I don't know the name of this gorgeous flower!
